Expect these are aerobic exercises, they are also the best abdominal exercises. You have two simultaneous benefits – you tighten your abs and you burn the fat over them (and the fat from your overall body).
At the beginning it could be difficult to run for a long time. Start with small sessions – run for a minute (or as long as you can), than stop running and walk for a while (for a minute). After that continue to alternate running and walking.
Don’t lose heart if you can’t run for 30 minutes from the first time. You need time to teach your body how to breathe and cope with tiredness.
If you have knee problems, running with high knees is not good for your. Try to keep your foots as close as possible to the ground and run with little steps. Moderate running is ok, gradually you can increase the speed, just watch your body, and it will tell you what to do
Jumping rope is high impact aerobic exercise. I find it a little bit challenging and I am fit! Two foot jump is more difficult than alternate food jump. You can also try one foot jump.
Rumi’s tip: Do 5 two foot jumps, then 5 one foot jump with every leg and at the end 5 alternate foot jumps. This way rope jumping is easier. Of course the purpose is to be difficult, because without pain, there is no gain!
This is my favorite! I live on the 7th floor and very often I don’t use elevator. And why to use it, climbing stairs is free and very good for so many muscles. The most difficult part is for your legs, but climbing stair also influences abs, buttocks and back. If you want sexy legs and buttocks, than forget for elevator.
Rumi’s tip: Try to climb stairs to the 10th floor, than go down stairs (this is the rest part of this exercise). First day do it ones, next day twice until you find how many times is ok for you. After a month you will see first result over your legs and butt.
In my city we have one fitness club where all treadmills are next to big windows. During the warm months they open (or remove windows, there is swimming pool just in front of the windows and lots of trees around. It is a big pleasure to jog on these treadmills. You can do this for an hour and it is going easy and easy, because you like what you see and you like the feelings you get.It is good if you can afford to put treadmill at your home, garden or place you like. Treadmill next to water is wonderful thing. But of course if you have a lake or sea next to you, just go running on the beach.
